Luce was born in Hasselt, Belgium and studied graphic arts in Antwerp.In 1975 she moved to Paris, working in several well known print studios including Atelier 17 where she met the legendary printmaker Stanley William Hayter. Since 2005 she has lived between Paris and London.As a printmaker Luce used to work mostly in black and white, but since working in London she has started using all the available materials, presses and coloured inks. Her work is now more focused on mixed-media, experimenting with different techniques and surfaces. Luce has exhibited widely and her work is represented in museums in Mexico, the Republic of Georgia, Korea, Belgium and France.
