Jenny Wiener
Jenny Wiener lives and works in London. She studied Drawing at The University of Arts, Camberwell and recently completed her MA in Printmaking at the Royal College of Art. Her practice revolves around numbers, where she aims to uncover the impractical and insensible methods of measurement that we seem to just accept. She defines these processes and applies them to whatever she wants. For example, she calibrates a worker's productivity to Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland or by measuring the illusion of perspective in 15th century paintings. Jenny works in a variety of medium including digital, drawing and screen print. She is currently measuring 'The Old Woman in the Shoe' for her next show in the Hockney Gallery (RCA) 20th September 2008.
